Dr. Ashley Niles’ upbringing and personality closely resembles that of the Niwot community: friendly, safe, and community-orientated. Growing up in Geneva, IL, a small suburban town rich in culture, community, and heritage, Dr. Niles knew from a young age that she wanted to help her community in some realm of healthcare.

Since finishing Dental School at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2009, Dr. Niles has dedicated her career to offering comprehensive and community-based oral health care. Her work has brought her experiences in a fast-paced downtown Chicago office, a rural family practice in Yorkville, and before leading the team at Niles Family Dentistry, she worked for Perfect Teeth in Boulder. Dr. Niles has volunteered her time and talent in Panama alongside pre-dental school students, gaining valuable experience in cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, creation and repair, and endodontics in a group practice setting. She has continually stayed focused on preventive, holistic family dentistry. 

Committed to bringing her patients advanced dental treatments and techniques, she is also dedicated to the environment. Dr. Niles is conscious of keeping her practice eco-friendly and has even been certified by the Eco-Dentistry Association.

Dr. Niles and her husband, Dan, have three children: Troy, Trevor, and Tilly. In her spare time outside of the office, Dr. Niles enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with her family and friends in the stunning Colorado mountains. An avid runner, Dr. Niles squeezes in runs when she can, and rides her bike to work most days. She finds joy in cooking healthy food and staying connected with her community, so If you see her around town, say hello!

It is a pleasure for me to introduce Dr. Laura Thomas who is joining our staff at Niles Family Dentistry.

I have patiently waited for the right fit for ten years, and now we are pleased to welcome Dr. Thomas to our team. When Dr. Thomas and I began talking over three years ago, I could tell she was a lot like me; engaged, caring, and thorough. Having long-time family living in Niwot, her move to Colorado is a natural fit.

I cannot express strongly enough my confidence in her technical skills as well as her compassionate and calm demeanor. I look forward to her joining our team which will greatly benefit our patient-care centered philosophy at our practice. 

She comes to us with a dedication to precision and service, honed through years of experience in the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Thomas attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in the Navy, she served as the dentist and Medical Department head on board the USS GERMANTOWN, where she cared for sailors and marines while sailing across the Pacific Ocean. With a commitment to excellence, and a focus on patient care, she brings a unique perspective to our practice. From routine check-ups to complex procedures, Dr. Thomas will be available to help serve our community starting August 16th!
